Visitor dialysis programs

Requiring dialysis should not be a reason to prevent you holidaying in spectacular Cape Town. There are two world–class, private dialysis centers strategically situated so that access is easy, no matter where you are staying

The oldest and largest private dialysis center is situated in the city center attached to the Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital. This large hospital has an entire range of facilities including a comprehensive trauma and emergency center. The City Park Hospital is the only private hospital in Cape Town doing Cardiac and Renal Transplants.

The dialysis unit is modern and spacious and equipped with bicarbonate compatible Fresenius machines. Visiting patients are always welcome and will be accommodated on a shift to suit their itinerary as far as it is possible.
